Special City Council Meeting

April 5, 2010

Present: Weuve, Strong, Jones, White    Absent: Damgaard

Mayor Taylor called the special meeting to order at 7:30 PM. 

Weuve made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Jones – 4 ayes.

No one from the public was present. 

Weuve made a motion to approve the total of $7,200 for 3 intakes on the 2009 WT Improvement Project with General Excavating as this expenditure will be in budget for the project, seconded by White – 4 ayes. 

Discussion held regarding State Unfunded Mandate WWTP E-Coli Disinfection Project and Sewer Rate Scenarios.  IRWA is currently working on a rate study for the sewer and water funds. 

Discussion was held regarding purchasing a new Maintenance Vehicle (Pickup Truck) &/or converting the Garbage Truck to a Dump Truck.  More information will be provided for the regular meeting on April 12, 2010.

Weuve made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:58 PM, seconded by White – 4 ayes.
